WATCH: Public Art in Process

As promised, here are two videos of our recent work for the Great Chicago Fire Hydrants public art exhibit. During the past few months, sculptures of giant fire hydrants have been on display throughout Chicago in honor of the heroism of our city’s firefighters. The sculptures are also currently up for auction HERE. Net proceeds will benefit the 100 Club of Chicago and other fire-related charities.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
