Nancy’s second set of classes, again funded by a Neighborhood Arts Program (NAP) grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, were held at Mary H. Catherwood Senior Apartments. It was an enthusiastic group of women who attended, many of whom were returning students. The culminating exhibition was on the top floor, and we were surrounded by sunlight and a beautiful view of the city. Looking at their framed pieces displayed throughout the room, it was thrilling to see how much the students had grown and developed as artists. Thanks to Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio intern Nikki for assisting with the class.
