Laura + Jared = A Wedding Chalkboard!

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Laura and Jared! This hand-lettered wedding chalkboard was beautifully framed and proudly displayed on their special day. The bride herself created the DIY chalkboard and then added a classy frame to our elegant design. Thanks to studio artist Elizabeth Ahlem for her excellent work on this board. Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio intern Grace Brandt also created our first vine! Check it out:

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
