Interlocking Portraits in Progress

What has been happening since our last post? Lots of progress on several oil paintings, including the four shown here. (Check back later this week for a post including the other two.) The subjects are a sweet Lincoln Park family on their roof deck. These four oil paintings are each 4-5 feet tall, created in a format that allows the panels to be hung together or separately. Nancy and studio assistant Tracee Badway have been working on capturing the values in gray scale before adding color.  Watch this studio news blog for the final color version in a few weeks. A special thank you to NPB’s artwork photographer Scott Keely for his consistently great work.
