Family Dollar Family Reunion Mural

Family Dollar hosted a sweepstakes using the hashtag #JustAddFamily and threw a reunion bash for a deserving family in Chicago’s Washington Park. Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio was commissioned to welcome the family with a fun and colorful twenty-foot pavement mural. The reunion was fully catered and had a full day of games planned for everyone to enjoy. What a fun way to celebrate family! A big thanks to studio artist Brittney Williams and partner artist Tracee Badway for their work on this chalk mural.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
