Enolo Wine Bar Mural and Specials Board

Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio was at the new Enolo Wine Bar in Chicago’s River North neighborhood last week. We created this permanent chalk mural of a giant corkscrew on a wall near the entrance, and a wine and food recommendations board to be updated quarterly. Located at 450 N. Clark St., Enolo Wine Bar replaces Bombay Spice next to Roka Akor. Special thanks to studio artist Tracee Badway for her help with the corkscrew and to studio intern Grace Brandt for her work on the specials board.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
