Cool Globes

Cool Globes is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit featured larger-than-life globes each designed to depict a solution to global warming.

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy was among an international group of artists selected by jury to design and create globes promoting solutions to climate change. Each of Nancy’s 5′ diameter globes is painted with acrylic and sealed for long term outdoor display.

Nature vs. Nurture

Nancy’s first globe, “Nature Nurture” was sponsored by Goldman Sachs. The globe was later purchased by Abbott and generously donated to the Greenbelt Cultural Center in the Lake County Forest Preserve for permanent exhibition.
