Chalk Art at the Home and Houseware Show- Again!

After the success of last year’s chalk art, Bialetti asked Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio to create another promotional piece for their annual booth at the “International Home and Houseware Show” at McCormick Place. This board features a fan-favorite of the show Top Chef, Fabio Viviani, who led cooking demos in the booth throughout the week, advertising Bialetti’s Aeternum cookware line. Artist Tracee Badway joined us in the project.

Tracee and Nancy even got a hug from the real Fabio. He is very charming!

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
