"Can you identify Nelson Algren, Saul Bellow, Gwendolyn Brooks, Sandra Cisneros, Lorraine Hansberry, David Mamet, Mike Royko and Carl Sandburg? I hope that these portraits will inspire viewers to read and re-read works by these brave and talented Chicagoans who help us better understand our city and ourselves. Perhaps it will inspire you to write your own Chicago story." - Nancy Pochis Bank, Artist
"Chicago Looks: Portraits by Chicago Artists" is presented by the Chicago Department of Transportation and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Public Art Program. Visit the City of Chicago Public Art Link for more info.
