Nancy’s painting, Literary Chicago, was featured in “Chicago Looks”, an exhibition displaying “portraits” of the City of Chicago. Chicago’s rich political, industrial and cultural history has inspired many great writers. This painting honors eight influential Chicago writers, each with a likeness appearing over a collage of his or her seminal works. Nancy hopes to inspire viewers to read and re-read works by these brave and talented Chicagoans who help us better understand our city and ourselves.
