The American Medical Association (AMA) hired Pochis Bank Art Studio to create four chalkboards in four days for their annual conference, a trial-by-fire project featuring word art that highlighted each day’s AMA events. Intercontinental Hotel purchased a fleet of kayaks at Wateriders Chicago Kayak Tours and Rentals and NPB Art Studio then created custom mural painting for the kayaks, expanding Intercontinental’s advertising range across the Chicago River. Nancy and Nikki curated the first Resident Spring Art Exhibit at the Mather Place of Wilmette, featuring the work of the students in our weekly watercolor class as well as over twenty other MPWI residents. Nancy returned again to the Ad Agency with Tracee. This time they created this dynamic and playful chalk mural to welcome their latest potential client, the American Academy of Pediatrics. Thank you also to studio manager Nikki for her assistance.
Continuing our “faithful” week… We were commissioned to create a quick large logo to celebrate the Cardinal’s visit to St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church on their 100th anniversary. Thanks to the newest Chalk Art Team member Amanda Paulson for her help with this project.
Nancy Pochis Bank art studio was commissioned to recreate the playbill of the new Broadway play, “Leap of Faith“, as a gift for the producer from a group of his friends.
Check out this new chalk mural that Tracee Badway and NPB Art Studio created this week for Critical Mass. This is the 3rd mural we have worked on for this same ad agency’s lobby. NPB Art Studio must bring the agency good luck–they always get the clients they’re pitching when we create a welcome mural!
NPB Studio was hired last week by a Chicago Ad Agency to “Welcome” the Illinois Lottery Account using the agency’s chalkboard walls. NPB Studio was recently hired by Critical Mass Advertising Agency to create a mural in Cuban-Miami style. Located on the chalkboard walls of their office suite lobby, the artwork was to welcome a potential client, The City of Miami Tourism Office. Nancy’s second set of classes, again funded by a Neighborhood Arts Program (NAP) grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, were held at Mary H.
