A Chalkboard Wall for Rocketfuel Ad Agency

Last week, Nancy Pochis Bank Art Studio executed this 8′ x 9′ painting on a chalkboard wall for the cafeteria of Rocketfuel Ad Agency‘s new office space on 350 N. Orleans St. The acrylic paint is permanent, but Rocketfuel can add and change the text for each section with chalk. It was exciting to work in this modern, colorful and innovative space and we hope the Rocketfuel employees will enjoy seeing our work on lunch breaks.

Chicago Public Artwork Goes International

In the summer of 2007, “Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” was launched in Chicago. Nancy Pochis Bank was among an international group of artists selected by the jury to design and create a globe to be displayed in the lakefront exhibit.

Since the start of the "Cool Globes" project, Nancy has created four 5’ globes that have been exhibited across the United States and internationally.

“Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” is a non-profit organization established to raise awareness of climate change and inspire individuals and community leaders to embrace solutions. The public art exhibit features larger-than-life globes, each designed to depict a solution to global warming.
